DocFormatHub is built on a "Privacy-First" architecture. Our core philosophy is that your files belong to you. We do not collect, store, or transmit your document data. All file processing and data manipulation happen entirely locally within your web browser.
2. Data Processing & Security
When you use our tools (such as Document Converter, JSON Formatter, etc.):
- Zero Uploads: Your files are never uploaded to any server.
- Local Execution: All conversions are performed using JavaScript libraries running on your own device.
- Volatile Memory: Once you close the tab or refresh the page, any loaded data is cleared from memory.
3. Local Storage
We use your browser's Local Storage and IndexedDB solely for:
- Preferences: Saving settings like Light/Dark theme.
- Persistence: Temporarily caching your input in tools (like the JSON Formatter) to prevent data loss from accidental refreshes. This data never leaves your device.
4. Advertising and Cookies
To keep our tools free to use, we display advertisements via Google AdSense. While your document data remains private, Google uses cookies to serve ads:
- Third-Party Cookies: Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Personalized Ads: Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- Opt-Out: You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.
5. Analytics and Tracking
DocFormatHub does not use any third-party analytics services (like Google Analytics) to track your behavior on our site. Outside of the advertising mentioned in Section 4, we do not use tracking cookies.
